Our Box Stair has housed or closed stringers on both sides. Box stairs have treads and risers that are routed into the stringer on both sides. Typically installed between two walls of a house.
Our Half Open Stair has a closed section at the top. In addition, there is an open section with RH or LH returned end treads on one side for the first few steps, usually no more than six. The exact amount of returned end open treads is determined by location of the wall break.
Our Full Open Stair is closed or boxed in one side. The opposite side is open with all returned end treads.
Our Double Half Open Stair is similar to our Half Open Stair, which is a combination of an open and closed stair, except the open section is open both sides with RH and LH returned end treads. The exact amount of returned end open treads is determined by location of the respective wall breaks.
Our Double Open Stair is returned end open both sides, each tread having mitered RH and LH ends. There is not a boxed in section to this stair.
